Going to the casino, for the same reasons you mentioned for the museum. I don't want to be rushed to leave and I don't want to rush someone else if I lose my money fast.

Traveling. I know very few people that I could stand to hang out with for more than a few days.

Shopping (clothes, books, whatever). My friends have been giving me a hard time about this lately, but I thought it was pretty standard, no?

standard. I never shop with anyone anymore, except for the night before christmas eve, where a couple friends and I have a tradition of loading up our flasks and fighting the crowds at the mall

Fishing. Ever since I bought a boat everyone wants to go with me. Once I tell them that we are leaving at 3 in the morning I usually get out of having anyone want to tag along.

I like working out and playing poker alone. I had a few guys I used to hang out with and they wouldn't play poker because they had no one to go with.. wtf??

Everything mentioned so far but drinking, casinos, and dinner.

Also smoking weed, studying, sleeping, and cooking.

My wife gives me grief for this also, but I much prefer clothes shopping alone. I don't want to have to explain why I want a piece of clothing and I really don't want anyone else's opinion. And I never get the right amount of time. Sometimes, she rushes me. Other times, she keeps saying no to certain items and forces me to go to different stores.

And it's even worse when she's the one looking for clothes. I usually end up just playing around with my daughter for a couple of hours while she's shopping at the mall (it would be a lot easier if she just left me and the daughter at home, but we wouldn't be doing it "as a family.")

LOL @ your wife doing it "as a family"!!! Altho, also female, i HATE shopping. Unless it's like a festival or cool, new stuff. I would LOVE a SO to shop for my clothes!!!

and i could go, "as a family" and sit at a coffee shop and people watch ALONE.
