No one has ruined any games. Did you all play with Andrew Karpinski and Alphawice? You just have to perfect the art of not caring and stop taking this too seriously.

Did he just claim wolf for real D1 of a long game?

Not really. You wouldn't believe it now, because it wouldn't cause a stir. All he did was say he was a wolf. He then argued (basically correctly) that it was as meaningful as the ubiquitous "I'm a villager" posts. He was quickly lynched for saying he was a wolf and giving some long meta-game explanation for why he said it.

If I remember correctly he was a villager.

i had thought it was a lot more salacious than that for some reason- that he didn't want to be a wolf and just gave up D1 for no reason, or something like that

but you're right- that wouldn't raise an eyebrow today
