Meh, from my experience with tsar he only has 33 or a flush here seems like a kinda bad spot

if it ends up 3-way, hero's got +EV unless one of the villains can show up with QQQ in this spot.

if we give Tsar like sets, flushes, and some As10x (or maybe top 2?) hand combos, with the dead money in the pot I think this still is a fold then? My first instinct was that it has to be a call but you might be right. I've always found Tsar to be really crazy.

I think that the 3rd player's presence in the hand actually increases our expectation as well ? Depending on his range and calling range

That's what I meant. How much EV does the 3rd player in the hand add? This is actually a really tough problem to figure out.

Assuming the button is good (which, judging by the 15/30 lineup most of yesterday, he probably was), I think he has a small flush/QJ/total air and folds it far more often than he sticks it in with whatever he has. But yea, he def increases expectation, we are obv hoping he has the bare NFD after we call tsar's shove (Edit: not actually sure about this, if he's legitimately priced in we might want him to fold, not sure how this crap works in 3 way pots).

I dunno, I wouldn't really fault anyone that much for shoving here. It seems neutral/marginally +ev at best, a bit bad at worst.

And you are right, I don't think we can completely rule out tsarrast having a worse hand other than 33.
