Our Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Knicks just traded Channing Frye and Steve Francis to Portland for Zach Randolph, Dan Dickau and Jerome James. That would be a nice deal for New York. Hot rumor is Miami may grab DePaul forward Wilson Chandler at No. 20. - 8:36 pm EDT

Francis is such a horrible guy to put on a team with so many young studs. Frye is a hot pick up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, that is an AMAAAAAAZING deal for New York.

Acie Law will be a bust. I don't know who Billy Knight should pick, but please please let him be a good player.

Don't believe this. Why would they get Frye when they already have Aldridge? Makes no sense to me.

Yeah I think so too, but after reading Hollinger's article, I'm so scared we'll get a bust.

I disagree. Frye and James will be great backups for their bigs and Franchise will be off the books very soon. They are going to be VERY good.

I'm not excited with the trade at all, I don't see why you would trade away picks for a old player. I do think that with the two of them and AJ that they will improve and will make the playoffs, but as a Celtic fan just making the playoffs is not important we need to worry about their future.

[/ QUOTE ]

When is the East going to be as weak as it is now? Not for a long time. Going for it hard now without giving up any value -- getting a superstar for what essentially amounts to the No. 5 draft pick is a steal -- is smart.

[/ QUOTE ]

I must have missed the memo when Ray Allen became a superstar.

[/ QUOTE ]

srsly?

[/ QUOTE ]

Was he ever on a winning team? The guy was only in the playoffs a handfull of times and now he's a superstar?????

He's not a "super"star, but he's damn good. Let's stop talking about it. The Cs have the potential to be a very good team in the east right now. Lots could happen.
