Sox are looking good. Ortiz looks like he should be in a wheelchair though.

I will be very surprised if the Rockies are able to stretch this series beyond five and maybe six games.

I'm now anti Sox just because of Kyro. Obviously I wanted Sox to lose this series but Kyro turned me into an honorary Yankees fan for the coming seasons.

This whole series will not be a blowout like this. EVERYTHING was stacked against us this game and no one expected us to win tonight. Beckett, 8 game layoff, in Fenway, tons of young guys way over excited.

Chim, I agree that losing this game wouldn't be a disaster for the Rockies. The way they are losing it is pretty crushing though. The Sox are just hammering the Rockies pitching and there is no sign that the Sox lineup is cooling down.

If they lost game one 4-1 or something I wouldn't blink, but this game can crush the confidence of a young team.

I disagree only because everything has been against us for the last month. We went like 1-37 on a 9 game win streak before having to win a ton of a games in a row. This team has shown they can bounce back really well. This series is a total David Goliath story from teh beginning and this just adds to the mystique.

Seriously, I went after you one night when I was drunk because you made the same post over and over and over again talking about the stupid Lofton play. Since then, I've been completely reasonable.
