Older EA Servers
Do older ea servers still run? I'm trying to find a more current roster set for my MVP Baseball 2005. I never had a connection to the internet with my systems. Now I have one with my ps3. However, I am unable to connect with the EA servers. I get an error message every time. My system reverts to a ps2 style internet setting when I try, this is standard I assume for all ps2 games on a ps3. Am I out of luck now and am stuck with the 2005 rosters? I know I have the option of doing it manually, but that will/would take a long time.
(I just typed this whole thing out on my ps3 browser, it takes some time, lol) |

Re: Older EA Servers
I doubt EA still runs a server for MVP 2005, and all the community made stuff that updates MVP is for the PC version, not PS2. I'd guess you're stuck with whatever rosters you have now.

Re: Older EA Servers
EA doesn't even list MVP 2005 on it's website as a game they made. I wish they never lost the rights to MLB. I own MVP 2006 and 2007 but still pop in 2005 when I want to play, just gotta love my Cardinals. Until someone comes along and makes a better-easy to pick up and play baseball game, I'll switch to their brand.

Re: Older EA Servers
I would love roster updates for Major League Baseball 2K4 for PS2. My favorite Post WSB 95 baseball game.
