Default 100k Stars yesterday

Yesterday i played this hand in the 100k tourney on stars. I was very much in doubt about what to do preflop.

UTG had played a solid game - TAG
CO was new at the table, but had played 4 out of the 6 hands since he joined.

I don't mind shoving here. You may get UTG to fold AK, AQ. And get a call from the CO with worse PP thinking you are squeezing. Folding is certainly OK, if you respect the UTG raiser. I don't like calling.

Yes, shove this. You are probably 55-45 against his range and you have a lot of FE.

Fold equity against a tag utg player and weak calling standards by the cutoff make pushing my action of choice. I might call if I were oop intending to push most non J flops but here I think the push works best. The 2nd choice is fold and dependent on your level of respect for the utg range. You should limp every time you misclick.

This pretty much sums it up. It's def shove/fold. The advantages to shoving are:

-You have good equity (49%) against a tight UTG range: 99+;AQs+;AQo+. Your equity against UTG's 4-betting range is not as good, but there's a lot dead money in the pot if CO folds.

-If UTG folds, CO will likely call if he's loose getting good odds...and u have his range crushed.

I vote shove here but my gut says to fold. Without the CO call I actually think I generally fold PF unless the guy's been reckless.
