Re: Protestants Opinion Of Mormons Makes My Point Clearest
[ QUOTE ]
In order to understand what it is to be a Christian, you have to be a Christian. [/ QUOTE ] Although your claim is false, even assuming it is true there seems no reason that having been a xtrian would not be sufficient to understand what it is to be a xtrian. luckyme |

Re: Protestants Opinion Of Mormons Makes My Point Clearest
[ QUOTE ]
God doesn't say. Someone or some group says that God says. That's how they get you to believe there's no choice in the matter, He's perfect and you can't even begin to understand, so just follow and obey or go to hell. just follow their infallible god you get 9/11 and other such tragedies. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think following their god was essential here. If they didn't have holy sites someone would still justifiably get offended at the US military bases, the intrusion culturally, economically and socially into another region's affairs. Are you suggesting a region full of atheists would be cool with such interference? To the NSA and the US government: of course the US is right, I'm just wondering what hypothetical atheists would have thought. I'm sure they would be cool with the US...
