What does everyone think of the Canterbury in regard to service, game selection, tournaments? I'm new to the area and have no idea how the place is perceived

I love the place. Dealers generally do a good job keeping games under control while maintaining an average to above average speed. Games are laggy and food is good.

I guess thats all it takes to keep me happy...

the best part about CCC is walking in there every so often and seeing the exact same [censored] you saw the previous time you went. fat degens everywhere, a lot of horrid dealers and "the guy" at every table who MUST chat with the dealer on a first name basis about personal stuff because hey, he knows this guy outside of work, and that should impress you.

True story: In a tourney guys all in (but dealer failed to realize that). I call, preflop, w pocket kings. Guy threw down his hand in disgust. Dealer mucks it and ships me the pot.

Floor called. The guy was able to tell the floor what cards he had, they dug around the muck for them, and they played it out. (i still won, but had to sweat a flush draw on turn and river). Floor there is rather stupid and dealers mess up too many times for my liking.
