Default Flop a monster...but completely bluffing by turn.....

Live 2/5 game in club in NYC. (9 handed).

Effective stacks are $1200.

MP1 is on my immediate right. He seems typical. Nothing fancy, nothing noticeably outta line. Been at the table about 25 hands and he won a nice pot quickly with KK.

I (MP2 I guess) haven't been dealt many SC's, broadways, or even connectors for the most part which is making me seem like I am fairly tight.

Folded to MP1 who limps. I raise to $25 with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. folded back to MP1 who calls.

(pot is $57) Flop comes K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. MP1 leads for $50. I call.

(pot is $157) Turn is K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He leads for $50, I raise to $200. Any love?

He's never folding a king and your getting 3:1 I just call. Also your hand works as a bluff catcher on the river/

The only better hands he could have are QQ, JJ, TT, AA (Kings dont fold obv) - and they seem super unlikely from the action.

I hate this a lot. What are you trying to get value of? He probably doesn't have TT+ given the preflop action and even if he does he probably won't call a raise with it 9 (unless he sucks bad). Most of the time you're just bloating the pot for his king, or making him fold a weaker hand.

Oh wow I just read the post title and realized your bluffing. That makes even less sense.

I'd call this turn, and bet this river (around 1/2 to 3/4 pot) if checked to. I don't like raising here for the reasons other posters have stated.
