Default Best method of withdrawing?

What is the best/easiest/most hassle-free method of withdrawing from UB (I am in the US)? I want to withdraw about $2000, and based on what I've found so far, it seems like I should request that a check be mailed to me, and then deposit it in an ATM (rather than directly with a teller, to avoid complications). If that is correct, would a $2000 check raise any red flags or should I request a smaller check?

Unless you deal with some fake bank it will not raise red flags, just give it plenty of time to clear before you use the money from the check.
