Default listen...

i am absolutely sure someone was up to something. so many massive calls w/ high card or bottom pair etc. when bobmitch was in the pot. ive played a million hands in a casino 10-20 and not seen this many huge maneuvers. if you dont beleive there is cheating in these games ur on crack. where do you think the cheaters are hanging out the 5-10 limit game at commerce?? THE GOOD NEWS IS the bad players are so bad you can still win BUT...to those of you who regularly play be warned...ur 200k bankroll is a penny in these games and ur getting ripped off.once i spoke w/ a friend of mine who is a 2 time bracelet winner in hi/lo. he said he palyed a HUGE cheated hi/lo game for 18 months and was a winner due to the fish but probably would have tripled his profit if the cheats would have been found out sooner.

becuase you can chalk up the fact that the biggest winner in these games folds top two to YOU but bluffs 2k w/ air to the biggest calling station in the game to solid "LAG" play means the cheat is working perfectly.

dont let winning make you complacent!!! i just spoke w/ a friend of mine (vikram) who is a vp at party poker about these cheats. it will be investigated BUT i am no computer genius. just street smart. if there is something i should tell him to look for or do please let me know.

Default Re: rampant cheating at party poker 10-20 pot limit

ive sat with bldswttrs for 2300 hands at 6max 10/20. ive won 14K from him, and lost 14K. there are times when he would reraise my open from the blinds every single time on every table for a half hour.

looking over his hand histories now, i could post several hands where he gets allin with top pair or any draw.

he is insanely crazy aggressive.

I'm not saying you do or do not cheat but this "example" doesn't prove much. The 2 accused have simply traded money. Uh it makes sense for 2 colluders to make it look like they are playing each other hard.

limon,

Although I agree with El D that lots of cheating is going on in general, and that is important to warn others here including giving screen names if necessary (and FWIW I have positively seen collusion on party 10/20 PLO but only had suspicions regarding PL and NL HE), I think the distinction that El D makes regarding the differences between online and live is important. As is the fact apparently, that until not too long ago, you didn't play online and have made comments in past years running down online play versus live. Which means you haven't played as many hands as most of us online and seen the screwy bad play that goes on.

It is also worth pointing out that with the latest upgrade and the way party has divided the games in the lobby, as lamented by some of us here, the PLHE games don't go as often or for as many tables as NL. Which of course means anyone who likes to play it is going to wind up on the same table all the time with those who do as well.

There was a certain laggy player in 10/20 PLHE last year, that I haven't seen lately, who seemed to be involved with another player with such funny hands. But after a while, I realized that they were just playing that way against each other naturally even in pots that were HU from the flop. Similary, many of us play either good or bad regulars differently that other players.

I will say, primarily based on the PLO collusion that I have seen at those stakes, that 2 colluders most often are both semi-lags, which of course hides somewhat to those who don't really study their hands, what they are doing. I also agree with you, provided that you get the right seating in regards to such players, that you can actually make money off them since such players aren't good enough colluders to know how to do it well (although in PLO just sharing card knowledge as a form of soft collusion can be strong without funny moves).

Where is arbianight this hand?

According to my numbers I have won ten k to him and lost over 15k to him. Against people I have played with a lot, my numbers are greater than over 100k won from and lost from. I have two players where my won from and lost from are over 200k.

1. I hardly have any hands against the guy
2. I've been playing on Party since September under this account and I have never been accused of anything.
3. You think the biggest winner on the site could be cheating for five months without anybody noticing. One who plays usually at least 20 days per month?

I'm sure there are better ways I could defend myself but I'm tired and its fairly obvious that I don't cheat.
