Hmm you could be right; I thought anything over £18 would be taxed, however I've never actually bought books from the US, only clothes and skincare products etc [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] although if the value of the package was marked lower than it actually is, you won't have to pay much if anything at all on top.

Theres no import duty into the UK on books, not sure about he rest of the EU.

The cost of the shipping per book evens it out. You can get free shipping on books from Amazon.co.uk. You'll pay about £4 a book on stuff you buy from Amazon.com -- even if it is shipped from Germany.
