Default Weird Al Yankovic

I have just found out that Weird Al will be performing nearby while on my family vacation. Tickets are $45/25.

I was a pretty big fan as a kid, haven't followed much of his new stuff. Has anybody seen him live? Is he worth ditching the wife and kid and going to?

The nostalgia and novelty kick alone seems to suggest you should do this.

I'd think the kid would be the only reason to go. This sounds worse than watching the Ice Capades.

Ice Capades, now there's a geezer reference if ever there was one.

kid will not even be 6 mos. old, so will be unable to appreciate the full sonic mastery of Weird Al. Bringing him is not an option.

I'm now wondering what Weird Al groupies look like.

Spending more than 10 minutes with that fanbase would make me vomit on the inside.
