[ QUOTE ]
I think it's silly that people even have a strong opinion on shortstacking. Bad players are just bad players, and good players shortstacking for an extended period are wasting time. So why does everyone care so much?

I regret spending so much time shortstacking, as I would have been better served spending much of that time elsewise. But I'm not going to be ashamed of how I spend my time. I've wasted time on far worse.

All of that said, I think any player can learn a lot from shortstacking. First, you learn correct strategy against a shortstack. Second, you get to see a lot of showdowns you otherwise wouldn't, which can give you insight into peoples ranges in some spots. Third, you can get a feel for how a level plays above what you usually play/are rolled for.

But just play like 10k hands, not 110k. 110k is a waste of time.

[/ QUOTE ]

because lots of shortstackers are making more than the fullstack players--look at the datamines for the MNSL 6 max players

the elite are fullstack, yet the most consistent decent winners are the shortstackers

Good fullstack MSNL players correctly think that shortstackers are stealing out of their bucket
