So why does everyone care so much? I regret spending so much time shortstacking, as I would have been better served spending much of that time elsewise. But I'm not going to be ashamed of how I spend my time. I've wasted time on far worse. All of that said, I think any player can learn a lot from shortstacking. First, you learn correct strategy against a shortstack. Second, you get to see a lot of showdowns you otherwise wouldn't, which can give you insight into peoples ranges in some spots. Third, you can get a feel for how a level plays above what you usually play/are rolled for. But just play like 10k hands, not 110k. 110k is a waste of time.
