Default Fold Ace high Flush??

This guy has been at the table for bout 2 rotations and done nothing of intrest.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $33.40
BB: $19.30
UTG: $63.45
MP: $22.20
Hero (CO): $25.00
BTN: $18.70

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, 2 folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $1.00, Hero raises to $3.25, BB calls $2.25

Turn: ($8.60) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5.00, BB calls $5.00

River: ($18.60) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets all-in for $10.05, Hero???

Pot Size: $38.70 ($1.85 Rake)

After flop call i thought he might have a flush draw but also thought the set was part of his range. If he made his flush he would have pushed the turn right? Which leads to think bout folding river.

Bet more on the turn. Insta-call his push on the river. If he had hit a set on the flop, he wouldn't have bet into you but either c/c, planning to c/r the turn or c/r the flop or bet/3bet, but quite certainly not bet/call.

Could have a set, but TPGK on flop seems at least as likely. I'd call.

Only if I'm sure enough that villain will stab at the pot on the river. Otherwise I'm too worried about losing value.

Does it make any difference that he took his time to call the turn? My feelings on this were that he didn't like the spade but was being stubborn his his hand.

Not sure about checking behind sightless, it may give the impression i didn't like the spade either which may lead to him leading the river. But as Genz said i think i might be losing value from smaller flushes. What would your reasoning be for checking behind?

Yes i should have bet more on turn, not actually sure why i didn't. Thanks for the comments.

You beat quite a lot here so I call. You beat a King high flush, even queen, and you beat someone that flopped a flush and is annoyed he lost it and donking away.

I dont think turn bet was too little, i mean what are we scared of? We didn't give him odds to call with a set. Good turn bet IMO.

What about the value lost by a smaller turn bet?
