Thirddan, do you buy one of those tubs of pure egg whites? If so, what's a good price for that? I've found that eggs simply aren't a very cost effective source of protein. Maybe I need to shop around for a good deal.

My breakfast usually contains a glass of milk with a scoop of whey protein. Then some carbs, either a bunch of fruit, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, or some combination. Smoothies sometimes.

deth, i buy a box of cartons from costco, i think it has 6 or 8 cartons with 8 eggs per carton...i think its like 11 bucks or something from costco...if you have to buy egg whites at the super market they are really expensive...

if you can handle the calories its prob cheaper to just use whole eggs...

I have oatmeal, toast, 3 eggs and a big piece of ham. Sometimes smoked salmon instead of the ham. Sometimes a banana instead of oatmeal.

4 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, 3 slices of turkey bacon and a bowl of oats.

Sometimes I will just have oats and whey.

There is a cereal from Natures Best that has flax and blueberries and fiber that is an excellent breakfast if you get tired of eggs/oatmeal/bagel breakfasts.

I've often had oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder in it. Probably my favorite is a couple of pieces of chicken, a couple of slices of bread, and a grapefruit. Sometimes I'll also add an apple on the road. When in a big hurry, a protein shake over the sink and an apple in the car.

Wynton, i'm pretty much in the same bag.

At home i like to go with a healthy cereal, a glass of juice, and sometimes a peice of fruit.

If on the go i go for a fruit salad and a fruit juice.

I've also read during the cutting phase that you should start your day with a glass or two of water. Can't remember where i read that though.

During bulking phase i eat more cereal, always have the fruit and a large protein shake.
