----- FLOP ----- [T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]

HERO: checks
rosapante: bets £75
HERO: raises to £437 and is all-in

I have Rosapante runnig 24/17/2.2 after reasonably sample. I had no idea what the hell to do in the flop, so I just c-r him AI. Rosapante likes to call 3-bets with quite a big range, so I was happy to 3-bet this. He called me 3-bet very quickly whicht I think means that he has some mediocre holding. What do you think?

once you check and he bets half pot all your options seem to suck. if he bet full pot, i think you should c/f. i think i would shove also when he bets so small, but i could see myself calling other bets and folding to psbs+.

i think checking > betting just because you would have to b/c and playing a big pot here is probably -ev. i think i would just tend to ezploit his obvious tendencies after i check (if he bets too much, if he is too weak etc).

tough spot but i think you played it well.

I don't know what the hell you all exepct jfish are talking about. Yeah the flop is bad, and if we get it in its pretty much always going to be coinflip/WB. But here's what I think.
1. Betting is bad cuz we cant really bet-fold, cuz he shoves tons of draws and we get pretty good odds to call.
2. Check-call might be good but I don't love it cuz if he's any good he will represent flush/straight when it hits. And I don't really love giving free cards here either.
3. Check-fold. Kind of weak, espcially because when we check, he'll bet tons of air, (He'll check some one pair hands for pot control, but other than that he really should bet decent draws and air here) and like I said, this guy calls lots of 3-bets.

Terrabon99 He'll fold better hand here never, and very seldomly calls worse. but he has prizes himself to call with draws.
