gravy- congrats on the pace that you are on, i hope u reach it early so u can take a break, anyways I got a side bet going with someone that you will get over 8% roi during this period, what do u think your chances are of doing so, im guessing not too good since your at 6% right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

over the last 1000 games ive had an avg. roi of about 11% so pretty decent actually.

gravy, I would try not to do the shrunken tile thing with that many tables for too long (many months, year). That seriously could eff up your eyes over time.

[/ QUOTE ]

does that mean i should stop 18 table tiling on the smallest stars table size? ive used this setup for a while...

[/ QUOTE ]

haha that is disgusting, cascading on a labtop with that many tables is so much more effective.

I always get scared I'm going to lose a table if I cascade. Plus I really try to keep up with everything that's going on on each table as much as I can. Pretty tough while cascading.

Same here, though I'd like to test it out. I usually just tile 16 at the smallest size on a 20" monitor with the lobby up on my laptop screen next to it. I'm assuming once you get sat out at a table its pretty tough to find it? Is there any way to realize one isn't popping up and is there any easy way to fix it if you do happen to figure it out?

Vista = good for cascading. It will give you a little preview window of whatever application you move your mouse over. So if you have 16 tables all under the PokerStars Lobby taskbar icon you can move your mouse over each table icon listed and it gives you a live preview and you can quickly/easily see if the "I'm Back" button is being displayed.

I've never really had problems with window focus on stars. The only time it sometimes [censored] up is when a new table first loads and some other table was requesting action. Tonight on FTP focus was all messed up and tables requiring action weren't popping at all - but that's pretty rare and I switched to tiled to adjust to the situation.

The reason the tables on FTP quit popping up to the front is a glitch in their software. If you bust in a tourney without knowing and let it fall to the back w/o closing it yourself, FTP will close it after it is finished and this causes the tables not to pop up anymore unless you restart the software. This really, really sucks when you're playing continuous and time out on half of them before you figure out they quit jumping up to the front.

Never really been a major fan of cascading but this certainly doesn't make me want to rush out and start doing it on FTP.
