Default ITM Stats for 6h SNGs?

wondering what other people get for ITM% for 6h STTs. Also for 1st% and 2nd%

after nearly 2000 SNGs, at various sites, at various buyins (11 to 55), i seem to get as follows:

ITM: 42%
1st: 19%
2nd: 23%

wondering how this compares, specifically the disparity from 1st to 2nd.

Since you posted a relevant sample, you get a response .

Over 3617 6-max SNGs, mostly $55+
1st: 19.8%
2nd: 21.2%
3rd: 21.4%
4th: 18.1%
5th: 13.2%
6th: 6.4%

Most of those are FT/Stars 65/35 structure, although 529 were on Party's 60/40 structure.

What I haven't done is see what my equity was chip-wise and how big (small/negative) my HU edge was.

it frustrates me to no end that my 1st place finishes lag behind my 2nd. However, I see both of you have similar results. Is this a result of correct low/mid blind play? Tighter early play results in being shortstacked when the game is heads up? Any ideas?

If you need something to do and the internet hasn't changed since the last time you read it, see how many chips you had going in to HU. The ratio of sum(all the chips you had to start HU) to (total 1st/2nd finishes * total chips in play per SNG) should be your skill-neutral 1st/2nd ratio.

Mine looks like this:
23.2%
21.4%
20.7%

But 2/3 of the tourneys is 5-max

OK, im going to do this. Is there any better way than individually opening up each HH, scrolling towards bottom, and checking stack size upon entering HU?

Uh... like pretty much any way is better than that. A bare minimum would be to use PT and sort by finish position, if you have the tournament summaries loaded. People have written programs that do stuff like that for you. Someone was working on a PokerEV-type thing for SNGs which would do all that and more.

ok.. right, i meant to open only HHs that i finished 1 or 2 in (obviously)

still, i dont have any better way. it seems that the EV-type software for SNG does not exist? there was a thread on that and i downloaded one such program and it crashed.

any other suggestions?
