2/4 Marginal Top pair hand vs Reef

Villain is Reef, he generally avoids me as long as it doesnt interfere with his quota of playing ~1/4 his hands, we dont have much of history together that is relevant to this hand. I have him at something like 23/18/4 over quite a few hands with a flop AF of 8 and other streets much much lower.

Pretty simple question: Instamuck flop? and if not, how to proceed. His raise just doesnt come across as very strong given the board texture unless he is fastplaying 444 (which really wouldnt make much sense to me).

Maybe I am just overthinking this and its just an instamuck on the flop. Any thoughts?

You are oop, you have to fold knowing that you sometimes fold the best hand here, but are doing it because its just too tough to play oop with just top pair.
