Default 3/6 I Thought I Sucked Out....?

Full ring table that's changing over, so we're 5-handed for this one. Button is a multi-tabling TAG & 2+2'er (I don't think he posts on this forum)...I have him at 15/12/2.7 over a 6k sample, but he is very much capable of getting tricky with about anything in a spot like this.

I check/call the flop & turn putting him on nothing/an underpair, and lead the river putting him on AK...sound about right? When he raises the river I can see arguments for all 3 options, just curious what most of you think.

hmmm...read dependent.

there are very few players who are good enough to read your betting pattern as WA/WB and raise AK or AQ here. so i still just call, unless you have evidence that this player is good enough to raise this river with TPGK or TPTK.

Even though he's multi-tabling, he's seen you bet/fold in this spot before.

He's clever enough to sniff out a WA/WB line, and puts you on Ax or such when he's on AK/AQ/AJ. After all, that six could not have helped you, and most would c/r a flush.

You're good often enough to call here.

I, personally, do not have the stones to reraise with no read of my own.

How would you respond to a cap?

I actually agree with Joe. I used to raise this all the time, but I'd fold preflop unless the blinds were very weak tight.

I'd threebet the river. You've played the hand exactly like a weak ace and if he's 2+2 he's raising here with a lot of hands you beat (not just aces). You've played it so strangly (in his mind) that I can see you being called by a lot of weak hands. Also, if he is 2+2 and not out of line, you can fold to a cap.

Good point.

The thought of a cap bluff really warms my heart, but if he's multi-tabling, I don't think he could ever make that play and the reraise/fold is safe.

You also have the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] making threebetting really really easy IMO.

I failed to read the full details. I saw, FULL RING, A6o and replied. I agree, the raise is fine. Make note: If the blinds defend loosely you should be folding this.
