Yeah, sorry...I meant to cut out that I raised preflop. But it is standard & all. I'm also assuming that if I don't get 3bet, a continuation bet is standard, so...

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $3/$6
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, BB calls.

Flop: (3SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises</font>, Hero...?

I at least call here every single time against this opponent. I'll threebet fairly often too; your hand is actually pretty robust against his range when he c/r. Because your OOP, I'd probably just call in this spot unless he is the type to c/r with air a lot and fold to further aggression.

I call. I don't think i would ever 3-bet. If i was against a player that is capable of folding here and wanted to bluff i would rather check/raise the turn because this is what i would do if i actually held a queen.

If you had position I think a three bet is in order. You are almost definitely behind at this point, probably to A hi or a small pair.

Calling here and waiting to see what hits the turn give you more options.

[/ QUOTE ]But he doesn't know that.. (you invest 1 SB for a lot of fold equity on the turn. Because you will bet the turn whatever hits)

Wouldn't that require investing 3 SBs?

Hehe, nooo... since you are already raised, and you are at least going to call. So it's only 1 SB more.
