Hint: your answer should be the same in every scenario.

Yeah. The thing to keep in mind is, your opponent should be raising any two cards here, and he didn't, so you have some reads, he probably isn't good at poker, and additionally, he doesn't have a good hand here.

By the way, no way do I ever muck a Mickey Mantle rookie card.

What do you guys think of this against loose blinds?

Hero is Button with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], CO posts a blind.

Folded to CO who checks, hero calls, SB completes and BB checks.

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB checks, CO checks, hero bets...

I think that you're gonna hate it if the BB had 62o & would've folded to your preflop raise.

Point being, there's no use letting these people see a free flop, especially when you have a hand that's actually worth playing like here. And if you're planning to put the bet in postflop when it's checked to you, you may as well throw it in preflop & see if they just fold. Plus they don't have to fold often to make it a +EV play on its own.

BTW, if I am big blind, the flop action goes like this & the SB folds, I'm for check/raising any two cards.

Well, my point is that some BB's will call 62o anyway. In the extreme, if both blinds VPIP were 100% and they're capable of ever checkraising, this is obviously correct right? I just think there's some range in there somewhere where the delayed steal has more FE.

EDIT: I'm never doing this with any hand with showdown value btw.
