Ok, that makes much more sense to me. Thanks Steve and Curtains.

Italian, he's all in, our flush draw gives us like 36% equity, the gutshot makes it more like 45%+. We're calling bc of the big draw, the bounty makes it easier.

But with SB still to act behind us & only having about 1500 above the raise, shouldn't we be reraising to ensure a HU pot? Or are we hoping that he then overpushes?

I think you gotta iso push here to prevent the other stack calling, you bricking turn and having no idea what to do again.

Oh sure, jam. Sorry, misread the hand a little and thought you were sb. Maybe fold without the bounty then, but probably not.

Oh I didnt notice the SB either I'd go allin anyway, bounty too huge. What is the buyin, it's less than the bounty right?

I definitely could've made the OP more clear, my bad.

Bounty is equal to the buy-in, less fee.

FWIW, I just called & immediately thought I should've pushed--thanks for helping me add one more known mistake to my tourney.

calling and not pushing isn't terrible either b/c since you have to hit to win anyway, it's not bad if SB comes along unless he specifically has a higher flush draw

Shove, clean up your outs and don't allow chips to pile up in front.

True, though also if it's Chiu that has the higher FD & I can clean up pair outs by getting rid of SB. But I suppose with the all in & call, SB's calling range is going to be miniscule here anyway.

I haven't played bounties but if I understand the concept correctly you want to try especially hard to dissuade SB from coming along.
