instafold and bet smaller on the flop, dry board especially against this type of villain

agreed. No reason to bet this big vs. this villain. He will fold if he missed to every resonable sized bet.

I mainly use potsized bets for wet boards and exploiting calling stations.

I would put him on set yes. I guess 88 and 99 are in there as well but I don't see him raising those all that often.

If we call flop raise I feel we get sucked into the hand if another undercard falls on turn.

Against this type of player, im folding, we are basically praying he has 88/99 if we cont with our hand.
Looks like a set here, maybe JJ/QQ assuming he doesnt 3bet those oop.
