I recently saw an old Leslie Nielsen movie where he was playing some military guy .. and it was a real serious part .. but i still could not help but laugh thinking of him in Naked Gun/Airplane/Police Squad et all every time he came on the screen

It was a general comment, but I'm still surprised as to your particular case. I don't think I've met anyone who didn't love it when it first came out.
