$50nl - 99 - turn decision
This is the type of hand that kinda throws me.
I have no stats on villian, villian could easily have a flush draw or could be slow playing an ace "less likely" or could of hit this T on the turn as part of his flush draw. Do i bet fold the turn and check behind if check to on the river or check behind on the turn and whats my play on the river if he bets and the flush does and dosnt come ? Thx for any advice. Re: $50nl - 99 - turn decision
Probably a good fold. I doubt he called with air.

Re: $50nl - 99 - turn decision
I think a bet/fold turn is ideal here, maybe ~$8. If that ten hit him, or if he has an ace, you'll know about it on the turn (although I suppose if he's a bit passive or prone to FPS, and c/c's the turn you might be able to showdown cheaply on the river if he whiffs a river c/r). I dont like checking behind on the turn, because it makes the river so difficult a decision. If I were in my opponents shoes, I'd bet that river card a lot of the time regardless of what I had. It's a great bluffing card. If we c/c's the turn and then donks the flush card on the river, I probably lay it down if he's passive or look him up if he's a bit aggresive and will bluff a river like that.
TRWIII Edit: As to the last question, if you bet and arent raised on the turn, I check through any nonflush, non-9 river. A busted flush isnt calling, and if you get called on that board you're very likely beat (if he didnt fold his tens on the turn, he probably wont on the river either). |
