Raise and call a 4-bet. Breathe in deep and out very slowly if he rolls 99.

love the title, it explains everything.
3 bet cuz you are beating a load of 2 pair hands. If he has trips well too bad. call a 4 bet although it'd be interesting to know how often even a terrible player would 4-bet with a hand that u beat.

purty-near never I think. The correct answer to this question may well be a strong indication to fold...

But how often can it be correct for a value 3bet on the river to fold against a bad player for one more? I, for one, do not have this fold in me... but I am definitely 3-betting the river all day long with top 2 on this board.

Was this a live hand? If so, I would 3-bet, call a 4-bet, lose to 32, get annoyed, and then do the breathing exercise that JT prescribed

Against some players I'd bet/call, but I don't mind a 3bet/call here though his play screams a set.

Lots of players OL in LP with smallish PP, this really looks like 44,55 thats my bet for this one

I thought about this as well, but the type of player I'm thinking of would also be scared to 4-bet anything but the nuts, or very close to it, and I think 23, AA, and JJ are unlikely holdings. If he's 4-betting lesser hands than that (and it looks very likely that he is), I think it's also reasonable to assume that he'll 4-bet worse 2 pairs at least often enough to make calling correct.
