What do you expect him to have? His check really confuses me.
I put him on lots of weaker aces. C7r and c turn with a set would be an amzing tricky line

taking the lead in this hand at any point after he check raises is bad. call flop, once he checks, check behind. I think you are against A9 or A3 a ton here and he is scared of AQ. no other hands really make sense that i can think of to take this line other than air, either way betting is bad.

I'd check and call river.

Against some players it's really an obvious muck on the flop (I mean, if they never do it with a worse ace and never with air then AK isn't too pretty). Also, the BB is still to act and if he's as much as a donk as most with that sized stack then that would make a move with air a little less likely. It looks like this villian will do this with a wider range of hands though so I guess you can call and take it from there. Personally, I'd pretty much always check the turn if checked to, no matter what comes up.

You are basically never folding this flop unless you hate the monies. When he checks to you on the Q turn, a check behind is good. Call almost all rivers and value bet them yourself for around half pot if he checks.

While I agree, I don't think player shows up much at $5/10, especially on Stars.

I've seen loads of players at 5/10 where I am certain that calling the flop is -EV, but I've never played Stars and will stay away based on this!

But still, this is a steal raise vs 2 blinds caller. Unless villain is a super-nit, this can't be an easy fold on the flop. Many players will only cold call with AQ=AJ even ATs from the blinds.
