Default 400nl: set of 7s on the flop- turn action?

co raises, I call with 77. Eff. stack $600.

Flop: QJ7, 2 diamonds

He bets $25, I make it $80. He calls.

Turn: Kc

He checks. Hero bets $160. Like/dislike?

If he raises can we call?

If he raises the turn, you should be thrilled.

I'd bet/call Bill. It's criminal not to get the money in vs 2 pair here. Plus, he is gonna have a pair + open ender and not fold on the turn a lot.

ya. i think i am thinking pretty deeply about this hand, moreso than i should based on our stack sizes. i'm thinking about this based on thinking what i'd change about how i'm playing if we are deeper. example: if we are 200bb deep, 300 bb deep. i don't mind stacking off here, but i like to think about different lines i should be taking based on his ranges, and what he can raise me with based on stack sizes.

oop his turn raising range i think changes quite a bit, and so i don't think i'm that far off line questioning the way i played the hand. but i'm definitely thinking of changing my line deeper.

snowbank i respect your play but wtf @ this hand?

You are NEVER folding to a turn raise here. The correct play is to shove to a turn raise and imo it's not close.

lol, ya i know. i had just lost 3 in a row set over sets when i posted and i always ask stupid questions when that happens.

i am reallly interested in this hand though, if we are deeper. say 200-300 bb deep.
