Default RAZZ/7 Card Stud; FPPs, FTPs, rakebacks and so on...

First, I hope you dont mind me sending such a post here, this propably should have been in the rakeback-forum but i thought that there is no way someone there knows something `bout these games Go ahead and delete if this doesnt fit in here...

At the moment I`m kinda bored w/NLH&tourneys and i`m considering widening my selection of games. Anyone able to give me any approximations how much rakeback u can get in

1/2 7 Stud
2/4 7 Stud
3/6 7 Stud

and for the same limits at RAZZ? Any experiences welcomed!

And also, is the FTP 600$ how easy/hard/possible to clear at the mentioned games? Anyone have any experience how many points u get for example in an hour or /100 hnds....

I know these aren`t reasons to choose a game but especially in the beginning (before the high limits...) all money is good money!

First, you are correct this is the wrong forum. Also remember rakeback is a %. It doesn't matter what game you play. If you want any specific offers you'll need to check the sponsored rakeback forums.

A) I built my BR with rakeback
B) Stud is limit, so youll pay more then a NL HE game.
C) FTP bonus seems clearable, but will take some time at those limits.

Bonus will take a LOT of time at those limits with Stud. Bear in mind your hands per hour go down playing Stud. Generally each full ring table will have maybe 40-50 hands per hour(unless its uber nittish).

There aren't as many raked hands in Razz as there are in other games so you won't be getting as much pts/rb. Pots tend to be small (BB wise) unless you can find an incredible table and even then there's still alot less raked hands than the equivilant limit HE table at the same stakes.

Just to clarify, the fact that most pots aren't raked (and also that you get a lot of hands in) is far superior to playing in a highly raked game where you're getting a chunk of your rake kicked back to you. This is presuming, of course, that the raked game isn't remarkably softer.

Other factors to consider are that:

-a good razz player can play on a shorter roll because the variance is lower (and therefore play higher)

-it is much more difficult to multitable stud games than hold 'em

-game selection at razz will be a lot worse than NLHE
