Default NL25 - UTG with 66 vs. BB

Villain is 49/6.5/.73 fish but i think he's an above average thinker.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (5 handed) Ultimate Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($25.43)
SB ($13.90)
BB ($25.44)
Hero ($24.90)
MP ($18.70)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, SB calls $0.75, BB calls $0.60.

Flop: ($2.55) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1.25, SB folds, BB raises to $2.5, Hero calls $1.25.

Turn: ($7.55) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero...

At this point I put him on a flush draw, a 5 most likely, or an 8 (15%)

I figure if I raise he will not continue with a worse hand..thoughts on all streets appreciated.

oxymoron imo.

Nevertheless, I think I either raise the flop or fold. So many scare cards can come, the 4 being one of them if he has 78. As played, turn is a fold.

Im folding flop and am definitely folding turn. Some guy who has an AF of .73 just became active and youre considering 66 to be good here? I dont think someone with that AF is going ape [censored] with a 5.

I don't understand why a raise is a good play on the flop

alright now it looks a lot like a flush draw. there is no point in raising here- it'd be such a thin raise, and the only thing you can beat is a flush draw or a complete bluff. definitely check behind

Is this your read? I think if that's your read on him, a raise is most definitely a good play on the flop. I said raise or fold, but let me specify by saying I much prefer folding. However, I think calling is the worst option of the three.

and as played, check behind on the river 100%. He's never calling with a 5 or a draw. I can see 77, 99, or Jd with Qd, Kd, or Ad also c/c here.

This makes perfect sense, is there even a little value we can get out of the river?

A five might call like a minbet on the river, but other than that, no.
