trying to sign up for WPEX but keep getting error message

I downloaded the software, and clicked on the "open account for free" button. That takes me to a web page where I enter the username that I want, password, email address, and country. Then when I hit Submit, I get an error message saying:

Phone Password not specified.
Phone Password does not match/verify.

wtf
