I still wonder if you are the real Johnny Grooms here, since your first post was a racial slur (and the Johnny I met and spoke with face to face a few times seemed to have way more class than that).

In any case, I was responding back to the fact that someone commented that the Harrahs property was even more pricey that the Beau was at normal rates.

I am going to this, and I'm staying at the Harrahs Grand, for far less than the rack rate, due to my Harrahs players card. If they have a poker rate (which I requested if available) the rate when I get there will be even lower.

Even better, once I stay there, I'll start getting offers from them (Harrah's Grand Biloxi) for the future, for free rooms and such.

Once again, as I said earlier, The use of the "slur" was not intended as a slur. If it offended you I apologize. I was quoting an excerpt from an old Saturday Night Live skit, which immediately followed the earlier mentioned "bass-o-matic 76" skit that is outlined with the picture of Dan Akroyd earlier in the post. This will be the last time I apologize for quoting a skit. If you didnt read the thread, accept the context, accept the apology if I offended you, and doubt my authenticity, then so be it. When you meet me at the Beau, I will say high, and confirm everything I posted here. allrightey then.....

1) It wasn't his first post.
2) It wasn't a racial slur per se. It was in response to a reply which understood his Bass-O-Matic joke in a previous post. The Bass-O-Matic was a classic Saturday Night Live commercial parody. If someone really got that joke, they'd probably also remember the Prison Talent Show skit where Garrett Morris is auditioning singing a song about getting a shotgun and killing all the whities he sees. As they start to drag him off, he launches into the second verse about how he's going to get him a white woman wearing a navy blue sweater since one of the ladies (Gilda?) on the cast was playing the Warden's secretary and was wearing a navy blue sweater.

Pre registraion is unavailable until the day before each event. Contact your casino host, and maybe do a wire transfer. They may be able to handle some deatils for you...

My flight gets there at around 6 the day before the first event I'm playing in. What time is registration over each night? I just thought my host could take care of it for me since I have an unlimited open line of credit at the Beau. I'll call her today and see.

Registration opens at 7 am each day. It remains open until 10PM that evening. Upon completion of registration and announcement of the prize pool for that day's event, registration for the following day's event will open. That will be at about 3PM each day...
