Default NL10 on Button, flopped TP with high kicker, right play?

Hey guys im new to cash games and am finding it really hard to win. What did I do wrong in this hand?
I raised flop because I thought he would have reraised pf if he had AK, so he could only really beat me if he had AQ right? He wouldnt have called pf with K5 or K6 right? what would you have done?

He minraised preflop. How long had you been at that table? Was it standard for him to minraise or did he do standard raises, as well?

Min raises, at times, can me a smallish pocket pair. Preflop, I wouldn't put it past him to have 5/5 or 6/6 here.

However, if he had either of those holdings, he probably would have repopped you on the flop when you raised him. So once the turn and river come, I think we can eliminate that.

K/Q seems like a likely hand. Just wants to call your bets, not reraise you as an A/K probably would (certainly on the turn). I think that's the only hand that beats you, unless villain played this completely differently than I would.

Actually I think villan had 65s. That would explain the flop bet. He didn't rr your raise because he was thinking you maybe holding K5 or K6. And since you didn't bet that strong on subsequent streets, it didn't cost him much to call you down. I think if you were to have bet bigger, villan would probably folded.

True - I was thinking about 6/5. Didn't put him on it because I think he has to repop OP on turn and otherwise is just playing it way too passive.

I think your PF call is at least questionable, guess there will be some guys around here that will tell you that calling a min raise with KJs isn't the best idea. On flop, you have to raise bigger, at least to 1.2, maybe even little more. Minraise is a no - no (as I learned here). Additionally, I check this river behind, cause I can't see a single weaker hand paying you off there (perhaps KT, but I don't want to believe that he would play that way with KT), but a lot of hands that beat you, like KQ or any Ax.

P.S.: I would be glad if he really had 65, but why would he call then on river. There's a pair on board and as played you simply can't have a different hand then a K. He should now he's behind in that case.

Sorry, this post became kind of long somehow...
LOL: Guess I was just able to shorten it a lot...

Thanks cjk, kind of late I guess.
