If you win the satellite, do you get an actual entry ticket, or 10k in cash?

If i'm flying into Buffalo, then driving to Niagra Falls, do i need a passport to cross the border? I've heard that a Drivers License and B.C. will be sufficient.

It would be great to see a strong showing at this year's North American Poker Championship at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls on October 26th.

There are only 2 days left to play Step 1 $90 satellites (Oct 15 + 16)!
There are only 2 days left to play Step A $160 satellites (Oct 17 +18)!
There is only 1 day left to play the Step 2 $640 satellites (Oct 19)!

$1200 single table SNG satellites will run round-the-clock from Oct 20 till the start of the NAPC on Oct 26.

We are on pace to seat 250-300 players just through our satellites alone. This looks like it will be a popular event on this season's World Poker Tour.

So..... who's playing? Who's railing?

From the WPT Website:

CROSSING THE BORDER

About 30 million visitors cross the border every year from the United States into Canada and an additional 18 million visitors arrive by boat or airplane from the USA and every other nation on earth. Visit the Canada Customs website for more information to make the crossing easier.

If you are a citizen of the United States, you do need a passport to enter Canada. You should also carry proof of your citizenship, such as a birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization, as well as a photo ID. If you are a permanent resident of the U.S., you should bring your Permanent Resident Card (i.e. green card) with you.

U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from Canada are currently exempt from passport requirements.

You will recieve a voucher worth $10,300. The voucher does NOT have your name or PAC number on it. Therefore, it is transferable. You may give it away, trade it, sell it, whatever you like. The voucher CANNOT be exchanged for cash with casino. You will need to present a voucher for the 2007 North American Poker Championship, along with valid government issued photo ID (all players must be 19 years of age) and your PAC card (all players MUST be enrolled in the Players Advantage Club)when you register to play.

The homeland security website says that as long as you arent going in by air or sea, you don't need a passport until January of 08.. I really hope this is the case. I'm flying up with only my drivers liscense and birth cert.

The Seneca Niagara casino (on the U.S. side of the border - only about 2 miles from Fallsview) is holding October Pokerfest at the same time as the Fallsview WPT event. This will consist of:

- $ 330 buyin NLHE on Sat. Oct.27 (I'm playing that)
- $ 550 buyin NLHE on Sun. Oct. 28
- $ 1000 buyin NLHE from Oct. 29 through 31

I really like the Seneca Poker room - it has the feel of a Vegas room.
