The experiment failed at Station casinos because they have a much higher concentration of locals than do Harrah's properties. A $5 rake at Red Rock is going to piss off the nitty local living in Summerlin a hell of a lot more than a clueless tourist from Nebraska playing at Paris.

Just to make it clear though, I am in no way in favor of the $5 rake. I find it disgusting.
