Default What is the best reading material for today\'s online low limit holdem?

I have found small stakes holdem does not apply well to the online low limit games of today (.50/1, 1/2 limit) but moreso to casino low limit play, so I am trying to figure out whats the best materials on the type of play at these levels online?

That's interesting - what specifically do you find so different between low-limit online vs. casino play?

One big difference is that online $2-$4 players typically play something like 30% of their hands rather than the 60%+ you see in casinos. That's huge. There are far fewer online players who play every hand. Live $2-$4 games are a lot like online $0.02-$0.04 games. It looks like in the full ring $0.02-$0.04 games on PokerStars, between 50% and 55% of the players are seeing the flop, compared with 24% at $2-$4. Live $20-$40 players are looser than the latter.

Much of SSHE is about getting the most in pots where loose players have contributed a lot of dead money. You have to exploit other mistakes in online small stakes games. That said, there is still a lot of good, relevant material in SSHE. It just takes more work to apply it.
