I guess I should try to stay away from fps type lines. I think I checked just for the sake of doing something a little different.

Seems like the only reason anyone hates your line is because they want to make the hand easier to play. I hate making it 180 on the flop, because you've now inflated the pot to the size where you're going to be folding every time anyone puts another chip in the pot. You turn your hand into a bluff.

I also don't see where the value in betting is on the flop.

At least with your line, you got 200 chips in where it's much more conceivable that you're ahead.

With the flop of QQ5 rainbow, I don't think draws are a big concern. Checking behind is ok. It may save a little against a Q and it might let them catch up to pay you off some. Plus, it may look like a missed AK when you bet the turn and you'll get a bet or 2 sometimes against a 22 or something.

Seems fine to me, if you hate money. Please bet the flop. Please raise the turn if you misclick-check the flop.

odds are we are way ahead on that harmless flop and no one has improved. checking might give one opp the second best hand, which might give us some chips on turn and/or river. I think a possible runner-runner flush is a chance we should take on a flop like that
