NL200 Serious FPS
Villain is a 15/7 nit. Notice the stacks, deep enough to go set mining with a reraise I think.
He appears pretty straight forward so when he doesn't lead out on flop I dont think he has AA or AK. On the turn I figured, either he has three kings, or an underpair/air, he is most likely giving up if he doesnt have the kings, so I decided to float... On the river the bet he makes is super weak, he just can't have any real hand here... Like or not? Re: NL200 Serious FPS
preflop isnt terrible given that youre 300bb deep.
he almost potted the turn and you called with an underpair - obv spew. then on the river you raised his weak blocker a stupid small amount that he'll call a large portion of the time because people love blocking then calling a small raise. |

Re: NL200 Serious FPS
villain is 15/7. I would be shocked if he doesnt have aa/ak here a large majority of the time.

Re: NL200 Serious FPS
there's nothing wrong with PF. The guy is an uber-nit (even assuming those stats are 6-handed rather than 3-handed).
FLOP: Nits tend not to get too tricky postflop. I think his most likely holding is a PP<KK, as air and AK+ tends to CB here. it might be very hard to push him off QQ here, and your read isn't that great, so fold turn. |

[/ QUOTE ] It's hardly "stupidly small", I'd problaby play the same with AK. And big raises look a lot more like a bluff. Here it's perfectly plausible that I'm valueraising with AK, I wouldn't raise to $80 with TPTK here... Also my turn call is pretty strong, so he has to put me on a hand. |

Re: NL200 Serious FPS
1. If you intend on bluffing there are considerable advantages to doing it on the turn rather than the river.
2. It is stupidly small. you can say big raises look like a bluff etc... but the fact of the matter is you get MUCH MUCH more FE with a raise to like $80. 3. yes, he can put you on a draw. |
