First live tournament, sitting about 6th after dinner break with 230k in chips. All donked away in 40 minutes. Finished about 60th. TT < KJo for 340k pot.

Apparently I was one of the 100k+ donks.

sorry to hear that. still a nice run in your first tourney. was the TT<KJo all in preflop? (how did the hand go and vs whom?)

i did love the levels and the blinds/anties structure of this tourney.

i just had the grossest hand EVER.

first shorty had T9o> my KQo which would have ended the day a few orbits earlier. So we're 6 handed on my table and 5 on the other. I raise K4dd utg+1 because everyone has really tightened up. I have like ~1.3 million BB with just under 1 million calls. Flop comes 679ddd or something. he checks, i bet 125k. He calls. Turn is a 2h. he checks, i bet 350k. he shoves pretty fast i snap call. A7dd good. for 2 million [censored] chips. 7.5 million in play btw. So im down to ~300k, but pick up a few pots and double with QQ>AK and am sitting at 683k for the ft tomorrow.

gtd 25k. 15k/30k/3k blinds.
