Default beat: fruit flies

[censored] everywhere

it was really cold here, and then it got really warm for a couple days

when it got warm they started coming out of the drains all over the house, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, all of our bedrooms

seriously i can count 20 right now sitting here at my desk

but my plan is to leave my windows wide open when i go to class and freeze the [censored] to death

We had a hudge problem last year. I fixed the problem by pouring some Draino down the sink and letting it sit for 15-20 minutes then running hot water for about a minute afterwards. Cleared them up instantly.

There's too many of them. Only solution is to burn down your house and eat their charred carcasses for sustenance. Enjoy!

pour a half cup of red wine and leave it out for a few days. Most of 'em will drown in it.

That doesn't solve the problem of them coming out of the drain. Fruit flies only live for 3 days anyways.

And new flies will hatch, or whatever they do, and keep coming out of the drain. I've dealt with them before. You have to attack their source, not keep killing the live ones.
