Default Re: 99 in stars nightly - uncomfy on all streets

[ QUOTE ]
turn i'd rather check behind and call a bet or vbet a blank riv. when he checks the turn i think most of the time he is either giving up or planning to c/r. even if he does call with worse, he's prob not gunna call another bet, so you'd still be getting 1 street of value. but i think you'll get that 1 street of value more often by checking behind turn.

I wasn't really thinking about getting value, rather the cheapest way to win the pot. I figured by betting turn I can pretty safely fold (although maybe he's bluffing or semi-bluffing sometimes, but still not often enough to call?). If I check turn he's definitely vbetting most rivers with his overpairs, and I may end up calling a similar bet anyways. The obvious plus to betting turn is folding out overcard hands with 6 outs preventing them from catching.
