it's terrible. you have no fold equity, you still have a player behind you and the SB, and your overs are likely dead unless you get HU w/ the BB, where you might have 11 outs, sometimes only 8.

it looks exactly like what it is, a draw, and its getting called by everything except AK.

i dont like shoving draws on the flop unless they're huge draws, b/c you have so little FE. i'd much prefer making a move like this on the turn if a brick falls and you're deeper.

i'm aware of this. i wasn't trying to infer that AK was (x) % of villains range though, i was just making a general statement of what hands in villains range fold here.

but im saying even if he ONLY folds AK, that's a lot of FE when you have 40% equity vs his calling range

but this is assuming that both the button and the small blind fold before it gets back to him.

fwiw, he doesn't only bet out an overpair. I'm pretty sure he's capable of playing AK this way, maybe AQ.

preflop is real bad imo against this villian... but standard on the flop..
