i don't have much of a history with TWP (&lt;300 hands), so there isn't any kind of crazy metagame going on here. and i just sat down, so this is my first hand at the table

I can't imagine doing anything aside from call.

we don't have that bad of a 2 pair and I think its a weird way for him to play a straight draw on the flop.

At the same time, you won't get that much value from 3betting because you could have bet the flop and checked the turn with anything but you won't come over the top on the river with less than your current holding.

but not for pot, $8 or so

villain's line is doesn't add up to me, I'd call here...this could easily be a total bluff because from his point of view, you could be just taking a shot at the pot on the river. then again, I have never played w/TWP so I don't know if he's capable of bluff raising the river...
