Re: jimmy rollins is a yambag
[ QUOTE ]
David Wright would have/ should have won but the Mets didn't make the playoffs. Even though that's not really his fault because in september he was 352/432/602. [/ QUOTE ] Didn't Wright have a few crucial errors in September that contributed to the collapse? If I remember it now, then maybe the voters remembered it a few months ago when they voted. |

Re: jimmy rollins is a yambag
I'm a big Wright fan and eagerly await the day a Met can win the MVP. But I would have voted against him this year.
He was fine in September and a beast in August. But he simply cannot avoid the taint of the collapse. |

[ QUOTE ] i like rollins' double cockslap to tulo AND holliday. woo, thats payback (im not bitter) [/ QUOTE ] I'm sorry Zach, but no it does not. Making it to the World Series>winning the MVP or a Gold Glove. Just ask Alex Rodriguez. [/ QUOTE ] lol. Did Alex say that? lol. I doubt he feels that way. Why? Because he isn't a WINNER. Or a TRUE YANKEE. It is a freakin PRIVILEGE to wear...nay..to DON the YANKEE PINSTRIPES. |

I choose the mighty analytical power of WARP3! Tremble before its...What's that? You guys have actual weapons? Oh, [censored]...Ummmm nvm, brb. [/ QUOTE ] We have very powerful weapons, they're just intangible, like leadership qualities and momentum (or Uncle Mo to you). |

[ QUOTE ]
Holliday's road #s .301 11hrs 55rbi .485 slugging .860 OPS double those and tell me if he didnt play at Coors he was an MVP candidate [/ QUOTE ] A road OPS of .860 isn't out of line with some MVP winners (see: 2007 NL MVP). |

Hanley's road OPS was .923 in case anyone is wondering. He also happens to be a leadoff hitter.
