Default Very tough choice... suggestions?

Very deep stack, soft cash game with .25/.25 blinds

seat 1: sb (.25)-fold
seat 2: bb (.25)-fold
seat 3: limp (.25)call to (1.25)
seat 4: fold
Hero[Ac Ts]: btn raise (.25 to 1.25)

Flop: [4h 8h 8s]
*the dealer messed up and actually exposed the burn which was another 8
Villian: check
Hero: check

Turn: [4h 8h 8s][Ts]
Villian: check -raise [5.0-13.0]
Hero: bet [5.0]-call [8.0]

River: [4h 8h 8s][Ts][Kc]
Villian: check -raises me all in[10.0 to 42]
Hero: bet [10.0]-?

Villian knows what he is doing around the card table and is up around 40 in the game.

Did I play this hand wrong on any street? and suggestions for the river?

Your hand history is not standard and difficult to read.
Cbet flop. I probably check behind on river after getting c/r'd on turn, becuase I don't see how a worse hand calls. When i get c/r'd two streets in a row, I am folding to this shove.

Could he be making a move here with JT or something? thinking I was on a draw? I overbet the turn then slowly called the c-raise. If he had JT the only way to get more money out of me if he thinks he is ahead (ie: I missed my draws)is me to bluff the river...

Does this make any sense?

At a home game with college kids, I was the dealer, but it wasn't my fault for the mistake.

Why are you betting the river?

value betting for his T crap kicker, he is a smart player very stupid in my opinion for him to reraise turn and check viver unless the king scared him. Does anyone else see this possibility?

IF he c/r'd turn on a pure bluff repping trips, he will not call your value bet, so your bet gets worse hands to fold and only better hands call.

It is possible he c/r turn for value and checked river because he is now scared of the K, but what hands could he do this with other than JJ, QQ, AT and KT, and you are behind all of these now, except AT. It is just hard to put him on a hand that c/r's turn after you raise flop, that is strong enough to call your value bet, but that you beat. Unless he is a very poor player, you can't get any more value out of this hand.

Maybe he is capable of running a crazy bluff c/r on the river after c/r bluffing turn, but if you check the river, you never have to worry about it.
