As of right now I don't see Santana getting this.

My top 3 in no order right now are

Beckett
Bedard
Haren.

I like how you have the least valuable of the 3 at the top

Like value matters in Cy Young voting.

As much of a Red Sox fan as I am, and as much as I've been impressed by Josh Beckett's growth as a pitcher this year, the stats point to Bedard.

Wins are a reflection on how good your team is, and Haren's ERA is artificially depressed by pitching half his games in Oakland with all that foul territory.

Camden Yards is more a hitter's park than Fenway, and while Beckett doesn't have to pitch as many innings as Bedard due to a great bullpen, IP is still a key stat.

Pedro.

OK, seriously, Haren has tapered off, he's on a bad team, he won't win.

Santana, always the trendy pick, but his team is not contending, he won't win.

Beckett, on a winning team, if not the best team, he may not be as good as Bedard or Santana, but I think he might just sneak in there in the final month ahead of those two, because the Red Sox are going to be in a tight, highly hyped race that they will probably win against the Yankees.

Beckett might pull this out with an awesome month considering he's the only one on an actual contending team.

You don't have to be on a winning team to win the Cy Young. Just have a good W-L record.

But because of Beckett's team, he is likely to end up with the best W-L record.

Like Steve Carlton, with 27 wins on a Phillies team that only won 59.

Thanks for the help, I was wondering last night the highest percentage of wins a pitcher had of his teams wins when I was thinking about Noah Lowry and the crappy Giants.
