You know your team is horrible when they get fleeced by the Cubs.

It can't be Zach Duke, btw. Izturis was traded for a PTBNL and Duke is on the 40-man. The only way you can trade a PTBNL that's not on a minor league roster is to switch leagues.

This is incorrect. Duke is on the DL. He can be considered a PTBNL when he comes off. Bobby Hill in the ARam trade was a perfect example of this.

Pittsburgh radio was reporting that it was Duke yesterday, as well, fwiw. He could also be one of a few players the Cubs are considering.

I am almost 100% positive that he can't be since he's on the 40-man and not considered part of a Minor League roster. Furthermore, it's not like the Bobby Hill deal because he was removed from the 40-man before the trade was finalized.

Kerry Wood will be seeing some A ball action in Peoria on tuesday. Cub fans know not to get their hopes up but you can't help but get excited to see how he seems to be taking rehab so seriously. 50 pounds lighter, he looks in damn good shape. Pics of a skinny Kerry can be found here.

Wow, who is that handsome devil?

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the pic of him bowling though until I read the caption. It'd be great to see him in action again in any capacity. Unless of course his arm falls off.
